Configure Your Own Smartphone

This idea is great, make more yours your smartphone is a project from Synapse-Phones, a new mobile phone maker who comes to change things offering something different: it is you who choose the features of your phone and pay for each component.

Not content with this, the model underlying Synapse is rated very good: 1 GHz processor, 4-inch screen and 480 × 800 pixels and a capacitive multi-touch, 256 MB of RAM, AGPS, accelerometer, Bluetooth and all in an aluminum body. Not happy? There are still the best, knowing that the starting price is only $ 299 for the terminal with the characteristics described above.

The configuration can be fairly broad. Is not it enough with 3G? We add to it 4G. The base terminal lacks WiFi, but for 35€ integrate b/g/n. Not to forget you can get a camera with 8 or 12 megapixels, LED or Xenon flash, a front camera, audio output, FM radio or even a miniHDMI, and misguide wonders, you could also choose the TV tuner. About internal memory don't worry, there is a choice of 8, 16 or 32 GB to add of course with the capacity microSD, and best of all: up to 1 GB of RAM, while most current models are around Android 512 MB. The updates are quite affordable, of course.

In short, configurable Synapse Android phones have very good looking, and something that can only be provided under the Android experience due to open source (and therefore buildable, programmable by any user). However, the Android software itself where there is fear: each configuration of mobile terminal will have its own Android, specific drivers, and that is a task that not every user on the street can do. However, if Synapse study and implements a system to get an Android or one of its updates in a simple and affordable way to anyone, will be half way done. Otherwise it will be a terminal used almost exclusively to developers or very advanced users.
