PlayStation Vita has undoubtedly been one of the highlights of E3, though they gave us the opportunity to meet it months ago as Sony NGP. A brief summary, we could say that this is a device with 5-inch OLED display, large but lightweight, 4-core processor, with all the buttons /triggers / sticks as usual (including a rear multi-touchpad), which will come in 2 versions: WiFi and WiFi + 3G, with a fairly tight price of 249 USD and 299 USD respectively.
All this is fine, but as is happening to the Xperia Play, would remain in alone if not for 3rd party upport. Thus, great songs have already been announced as Uncharted: Golden Abyss, an RPG called Ruin, ModNation Racers, LittleBigPlanet, and even Street Fighter x Tekken, this is the PSP Vita trailer:

Thanks to WiFi (or 3G), we can chat with other players while we are crushing, storing game progress in the cloud, or share content with others. In the announcement, there is talk of exclusivity for AT&T 3G + WiFi version. We'll see what happens on arrival to other countries. Also it will not have restrictions, so that the games are played regardless of the market where you purchased the console.
We consider it a wise policy by the Japanese giant, which was used for PS3. Turning to the issue of connectivity with big screens, which has been discussed enough, taking into account the power of the device, Sony advises people the lack of HDMI output, or equivalent connection. At least it's their idea for the first console version. A couple of curiosities, the battery is not removable, and we can not use existing Bluetooth peripherals for the PS3, nor his control.
Regarding storage, we have two slots or grooves in PS Vita, a card of their own (without defining the format) and one for the new storage medium that does not want to give many details, and where commercial games come.
Support for the games will be based on flash memory cards with a dedicated design for PS Vita, and the ability to record part of the additions and updates into card games. In the future, their size will grow as the need arises.
Also you can download games from the PlayStation Store, where you will have access to the catalog of games from PSOne or PSP. Sony is studying how to compensate those who have the hardware game (UMD / CD) in order to avoid buying it again.
Have to wait at the end of the year for this promising handheld console, which will remind you at a price of $249 euros for the WiFi version, and $299 for the model with 3G connectivity. Another video to watch:
