Qualcomm 1, 2 & 4 cores

After reading the news of Tegra 2 and TI Omap, now I will show you what is Qualcomm preparing for this and the next year. So the bet is multifaceted, with new models up to 2.5 Ghz per core and packaging four elements per chip. That would be the king of the jungle, the SnapDragon APQ8064.

The new 28 nanometers processor micro-architecture, code-named Krait is able to deliver speeds up to 2.5 GHz per core, yield increases of up to 150% and decreased consumption by 65% compared with the current ARM nucleus.

The new generation of Snapdragon chips will be accompanied along with Adreno GPU, also spent four cores and a modem 3D LTE standard. They will meet as a single core, double, triple and "The King", quad-core 2.5 Ghz.

The most simple one Qualcomm MSM8930 core, along with a new dual core processor Qualcomm MSM8960 which is interesting because it is the first chipset that is capable of integrating networks and 3G LTE. But the crown jewel is undoubtedly the Qualcomm APQ8064, quad-core processor, however it will not be available until early 2012.
